Dust: A Collection of Forgotten Sounds is a Jungol time capsule of sorts. Much of this material was created in the basement of Andres’ parent’s house between 2001 and 2003. We found ourselves digging a little deeper into ambient music and began creating loops and layering soundscapes using mostly guitars and a cheap Casio keyboard. At that time we were focused more on actual songwriting and we had no intent of releasing any of this material. Hello.   As you may know we will be performing on a couple of stages this year for Austin’s annual SXSW Festival. The first show will be on March 15 at Hole in the Wall for Hijacking Music’s showcase. Our time slot is 11:45pm and the link to the event page is hereJungol in Austin. There will also be a Dark Room set earlier in the night on the Hijacking stage. Our second confirmed performance will be on March 17 at East Avenue Lounge. Our time slot for this showcase will be at 10pm and we’ll be followed by our buds Stokeswood. You can expect to see us at several more shows and parties as we get closer to this awesome event.
