We are thrilled to announce that our break from gigging will be coming to an end in a couple months.  On July 13th we will be celebrating with a headlining show at The Earl in East Atlanta.  There are two amazing bands on this bill with us that will be revealed at the end of the month.  We’ve been working hard on our new album as well as some other very special projects.  You can expect to hear the debut of many of these new songs on the 13th.    The facebook event lives here.  JUNGOL AT THE EARL

Tonight we are going to be performing at 500 Songs for Kids like we do every year.  This is an amazing event to be a part of and your involvement is crucial.  We were given a fundraising page this year where you can donate to this amazing cause.  That page lives here.  JUNGOL SONGS FOR KIDS.

We will be performing tonight at 8pm at Smith’s Olde Bar.

Next Friday we will be throwing a party with host Wil May for their COOL parties at Whiskey Park (at the W in Midtown).  The event page, DJ’s and other info should be available on Monday.

Much of this material was created in the basement of Andres’ parent’s house between 2001 and 2003. We found ourselves digging a little deeper into ambient music and began creating loops and layering soundscapes using mostly guitars and a cheap Casio keyboard. At that time we were focused more on actual songwriting and we had no intent of releasing any of this material. In January of 2012 these sounds were rediscovered, remastered and deemed ready for your ears to hear. Enjoy.

As you may know we will be performing on a couple of stages this year for Austin’s annual SXSW Festival. The first show will be on March 15 at Hole in the Wall for Hijacking Music’s showcase. Our time slot is 11:45pm and the link to the event page is hereJungol in Austin. There will also be a Dark Room set earlier in the night on the Hijacking stage. Our second confirmed performance will be on March 17 at East Avenue Lounge. Our time slot for this showcase will be at 10pm and we’ll be followed by our buds Stokeswood. You can expect to see us at several more shows and parties as we get closer to this awesome event. And we’ll certainly keep you updated along the way.
 
We will also be having a SXSW Kick-off show at the Cottage with Fine Peduncle, Odist and Tricil on March 10. The event page is hereJungol SXSW Kick-off.
 
On March 30 we have a very special FREE show with Today the Moon Tomorrow the Sun happening at the North River Tavern. This will be the REMIX RELEASE show for TTMTTS’s remix of our song Two People and our remix of their song We Were Wild. We look forward to seeing you all there for this special show.
