GO SOFTLY SCREENING / ART SHOW / FINE PEDUNCLE FEB 8th

We will be screening our short film GO SOFTLY in its’ entirety for the first time on February 8th at Snake Nation Gallery in Castleberry Hill. You can expect DJ sets from Dark Room, Isness and J.Longino as well as a very special performance from Fine Peduncle.

Several of the art pieces, costumes and props from the film will be on display in the gallery hall and in the main room along with some movie stills. DLCustoms will also have handmade figurines of the GS characters for sale.

The doors will open at 9pm. It is free to get in and there will be booze.….

Little history on Go Softly:
“Go Softly was a project that began with a concept of fusing the music of Jungol with a brand new and exciting visual element. Making a short film was something I had wanted to do for a long time so it was an obvious decision to go in that direction. The process of making Go Softly started with a focus on the writing, story-boarding and the building of all the costumes, puppets and art pieces. This project gave us the opportunity to work with some talented friends who also wanted to experiment in new ways. Nearly all the music used for the film was created during this process. We then filmed for many months and as the editing process began we decided to release the film one piece at a time and out of sequence. It was a bit risky since this was the first film work I’d ever done and with the announcement of releasing it in pieces came a whole new pressure. But in the end the experiment turned out to be something really special and we are excited to share it with you in its’ entirety.” ~Josh Yoder
